Welcome to Kappa Psi Omega

Welcome to the website of Kappa Psi Omega Chapter!  Chartered on May 15, 1976, in the capital city of Madison, WI, this chapter is located in the Central Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, we work alongside other sorority sisters in our mission of being a “service to all mankind” in our community and “Soaring To Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood” wherever we gather.

On behalf of the members of Kappa Psi Omega, we encourage visitors to peruse the website and learn about the volunteer work being performed by the resourceful, talented, college-educated and multi-generational women of this chapter.

Not only do we volunteer our time to implement the six initiatives of the sorority Empower our families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Social Justice, and Uplifting our community, annually we provide scholarships to Dane County graduating high school seniors. Since 2019, we have provided over 60 youth with thousands of dollars of scholarship to start their college careers.

Kappa Psi Omega Chapter has spearheaded activities to support homeless families and feed children, collaborated with our fellow Divine 9 organizations to provide food during the holidays, distributed book bags to students and supported numerous community events.

We look forward to foster and facilitate a community that is safe, healthy and free from violence as we continue our important efforts of improving wellbeing to all that live in the greater Madison metropolitan area.

Yours in service,

Stephanie Bradley Wilson, President
